Actually people did use C a lot on the web in CGI programming but now there's things like PHP/Perl, etc that are much more faster for the web and built specifically for the web.

Personally I love C++. It's probably one of the best languages out there. Very nicely organized and structured.

I've used C a lot too but I haven't touched it in over 5 years but I know my C++ so it won't be too hard to pick up.

I plan to use it to build an Apache module. Apache was written with it and so was PHP...so hopefully I can make myself a PHP module and extend PHP as well heh heh
