A bad client can take up HUGE amounts of one’s time. Man.. truly a killer.

I second that! I have recently been involved with two clients that have cost me alot of time and money. After such experiences it can really play on your esteem and sometimes wonder if it is all worth the trouble freelancing. However I still find myself here and looking to continue in the business. Mind you I am taking a bit of a break while I focus on my transition to university at the moment.

Your time and experience in the industry should be of great benifit to the community. Hopefully you will be able to learn new things from others here as well.
