When you modify any image from small to big size then it is pixelize so it looks like stretch. But in your website image stretch because of java script which you used to display image in thumbnail view. You can solve your problem by changing quantity of thumbnail images. When you decrease images from view and change size of remain images according to thumbnail view then it fit within it without stretch.
