I don't think you need the magnifying glass in every picture. The crop of the screenshot lets the user know that it's a thumbnail alone.

It is very nice looking, but I would improve upon it by placing a section below it that tells a little bit about you, your design background, your design principles-- maybe 1-2 paragraphs total. Under that I would place an easy to use contact form for people to get in touch with you. Style these and appropriate headers nicely and you'll have a very desirable portfolio.
