Not that I agree with voting for someone because they are white, black, or something like that. But if you honestly mean that, you are supporting ideals that history has always shows leads to oppression of the minority. First, the government takes away freedom from some to "keep the idiots away", they then promptly take freedom away from anyone who disagrees with them.
As much as I dont like the Democrat's policies, I would rather see a Democrat win fairly than a Republican (who I agree with in all ways) win because everyone who disagrees with him was silenced.
I'm not getting involved in McCain vs Obama, but I will defend the values of basic democracy (well constitutional republic, but you get the idea).

I don't mean we should enforce it, I just believe it's wrong if someone is voting for someone because of their race, gender, status, etc. I am not voting for Obama because he is black, I would vote for him because I support his ideas.
