ASPX done by a five year old with no security knowledge is more secure than most well trained PHP Coders' Code then Frameworked Coding is a whole lot easier in simple hands and more powerful in experienced hands.

On Hotscripts; there are 700 ASPX Scripts. 11,000 PHP Scripts It doesn't make it easier though, it just means more people use it. Most Forum software will take about 6 months to complete to Release; after that it matures and it has to be said vBulletin has been maturing very well. There are a whole lot more superior ASPX Forums out there though ASPX Forums that can take advantage of Mobile Phone and PDA possibilities not in place with PHP.

Again - ASPX is secure from the beginning. You can, if you want, drop a Login Box, a Regisration Wizard and a Page and it will be more secure than more PHP Scripts.
