Eh, can i just say something here. I'm the so called "friend" of Remedy.
It's true about i traded a vb licence for hosting, but after about a week i wasn't too keen on the deal. The hosting cpanel was going all wrong nothing worked and was regretting i had done this. It was only because i couldn't get in contact with remedy that i discontinued it. Timezone i suppose was the main trouble here. At this time i had paid 1 month's worth of hosting. (like $20). And he had full access to my vb licence.
Partly my fault that i never told him that i didn't want his hosting anymore i agree. (literally never saw him) but i just assumed seeing as he never contacted me about payments he knew i left.
I can see how he was pissed about me taking back the vb licence as he thought i agreed on hosting for 1 year (which i did kinda, only the fact that i couldn't get in contact with him to say that the hosting didn't work - i cut the deal) But after a week of crappy hosting, i decided i didn't wanna be out of pocket of a vb licence and have no hosting - so i took the licence back. This was 1 week after i had paid $20 for the first month of hosting.
Now about 5 months later i see him on MSN and he is wondering why the log in to vb isn't working. And then this whole situation occurs
Anyway, i'm just posting to make people aware of the situation and how Remedy does in a way feel hard done by. But i can't say anything about him not re-funding, he should i agree 100%. Like someone said before, I have my vb licence back, he has his hosting back, so all that's left is the refund.
And can i just add, there's no way you can file a report to vb and them take my licence as i never signed the licence over in the first place.
