I have had a lot of problems with paypal.

They constantly limit accounts, mine has been limited 4 times now, the longest for 4 months which had £xxxx (GBP) frozen because each and every time they got their TOS wrong.
I have been with paypal since 2002-2003 and have a rating of 250+

You have to ask for a manager, dont talk to the people that answer the phone, they have no idea whats going on apart from the simple things they get in training and in a simple FAQ they have, just constantly ask for the manager.

Without talking to the head manager, its likely you will have to wait the full time.

Even when you do add a card, they will ask for more, its just one thing for verification.

My problem wasn't with verification, but I don't see what verification has to do with spending money you got on your own account if you have been using it for a long time.

You must have some sort of ID, password, driving license, student card, ID card (If your in the UK).

A lot of companies will ask for photographic ID so I would still suggest getting one now anyway to help in the future
