Learn how the model you use to manage your practice affects its value—what you put into your business and what you get out of it. In 3 60-minute sessions, we’ll discuss what a business model is, what better understanding of your model offers your business. . .and why having a business model is relevant to an independent or professional practice.

We'll examine business models used by large and small firms and discuss how this approach can help you define and build value in your practice. And finally, we'll help each other draft an appropriate and effective working model for your business. Download a fact sheet here.
A. Business Models 101 Tues 10 Jan @ noon US Eastern Time.
What is a business model? How is does it identify and describe value? (And what is value in an independent practice, anyway?
B. Business Models in Real Life Tues 17 Jan @ noon US Eastern Time.
In this meeting, we'll look at some well-known businesses or business types, examine the model(s) they employ. We'll discuss how they benefit the business, and how they might be changed or improved
C. Creating Your Business Model Tues 24 Jan @ noon US Eastern Time
The final meeting will be devoted to designing and discussing the business model(s) you use in your practice. We'll help each other understand and refine those models, and make plans to use the results to improve your business, and your business outlook.
