Vista upgrade
Any one got windows vista installed? Is it worth the upgrade atm?
I have it, but not sure about drivers for it. Just wanted to know any one who has Vista had any probs with getting drivers to work and what not. I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro P100 laptop, so need quite a few drivers for the things it has.

I am trying to install it on my Toshiba Satellite Pro P100. When I boot it from the CD it starts loading then I get a blue screen with this error message:
A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check to be sure you have adequate disk space" I do. "If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with then manufacturer for driver updats
Try changing video adapters" " Check with your hardware vbendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode ti remove or disable compnents, restart your computer, pressing F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select safe mode.

I'm happy sticking with XP, Vista appears to be more trouble than it's worth.

I tried that Final release of Vista, while nice feel to it, it just felt unfinished. Not worth getting it until the first service pack.

Haven't tried it, but I can always delay spending money.
