  Old  Moving Tf Backwards...

With all this talk of moving tf forwards shoudn't try to move it backwards and make it more simple and less complex?

My idea is we have a big (really big... really big) notice board in the center of the world and to post we have to go there and stick on a post-it note.

I welcome all suggestions and criticism.

TFL seems very primitive to me at the moment - I don't know where you got the notion of complex from. People post pointless threads and other people reply. I'm all for the idea of the post-it note as long as:
  • A: You pay for my travel;
  • B: Capital punishment is permitted;
  • C: We oust pointless threads and their pointless authors
  • D: Big Zee is chained to the post-it note

Criticism? Well, it's fecking stupid, isn't it?

Nah Adam you've provided a valid point. But obviously travel will be an issue. However with the development of technology we'll be able to teleport in around 10 years time (average time anything gets done on TF) so it won't be a problem. And of course capital punishment will be permitted.

Personally why TFL has gone down hill as no one is really in charge, no one really has anybody to look up to or get along nicely with, this place has more staff than it needs. People on here now just have a bigger ego than before which probably adds to their attitude.

Jamie, I completely agree with you on the bigger ego part. I have noticed that greatly from when I used to be on here on my old name over a year and a half ago up until the present. It's completely different. Although some things have been subtle changes, that one's definitely stood out to me.

Well, people's ego will always be maximized on the Internet as people can be who they want, I could be a totally different person tomorrow or create a new alias and be a new person, with a different attitude than who I actually really am. And I am a little different on the Internet than I am in real life, in terms of the way of speech. I speak completely different to what I do in real life on the Internet, I'm not affraid to say what I want, and I think the problem lies there. Soon as I am comfortable speaking my mind at times people's opinions and interests conflict with that. What has this got anything to do with this thread? Well, really people aren't scared to say what they want anymore. Think of it as Anthony or Robson was still the administrator, a lot of people including myself have high respect for those kinda people, and most likely because they've taught us a thing or two? Now, my argument (as you may say..) starts here, I don't know Big Zee, or any of the other staff here on board, that not meaning I should give them little respect but the fact is I don't have any respect for a few of the moderators here, why? Because I've seen their power (and yes, ego) overtake them. Closing a topic doesn't end a fight, you got to let it run and until people agree to disagree or simply just understand eachothers opinion, and that being a reason why I think people are so big headed on these forums.

People on these forums are so far up their own a$$e$ they can be who they want and think they're more special than someone else. At the end of the day we're all the same.

This place just needs a bit of respect and people's heads knocking together, mine included.

My post may seem confusing, I've blabbed on about a few things (relating to this subject or not..) I appologise for any confusion.

I completely understood you and completely agree as well. It was well-stated. I also agree with the staff and their egos as well as their power (not all of them, but some), but I would rather try not to talk about them so much.
