Well i just put up my blog. I have always had a hard time expressing myself and this would be a way to get a little better at it.

so what do you think of it so far? bare with some buggs thats needs to get sorted. but you should still be able to get an overall feeling of it. Im thinking of a way of adding my portfolio, suggestions about that would be great too, have a simple flash thing in mind but not sure yet..

anyways

*edit*
ohh and someone might know why it automatic sets it to the default template?

It's a little graphic intensive, but it's allright.

I really like it! Maybe have some more stuff in the sidebar?

Good luck

im aware of the large images and gonna knock that down a fair bit later, but wouldn't call it graphical intense myself . feel free to explain why, is it to cluttered with all the fading going on?

hehe well yeah as soon as there is content to add in the sidebar that will fill up. blogroll and either small presentation or lates folio piece not sure yet.

thanks

Very nice colours, nice structure.

The typography is not too good though, you have used far too many fonts. Looks like a Trebuchet lookalike for your logo, then a tahoma type font in the header (and made italic, normal and bold in the same slogan) Times New Roman next to that above the search box, Georgia for the content date and header, then arial for the textual content.

Whew, that's a lot of fonts!

The mixture of fonts in the way you have done it makes the page look disjointed, with a lack of consistency.

Try using a blend of 2 (3 max) fonts that compliment each other. Use bold and italicised fonts sparingly.

Yes, I agree with Julian.

Also in the banner, the "follow my quest for success..." is really hard to read because of that italized and bold text. Just stick with the normal text.

On a last note, the main body text is a bit small, try knocking it up a bit.

Looks nice. A little too many gradiant shadows for me though.
