Will you be interested in...
Hey guys,
I'm doing a market study on one of our new projects, not named to avoid advertising issue.
We are planning to build a huge freelance ressources web site, that will help freelancers to improve themselves. We will maybe add an outsourcing system but we're not sure because getafreelancer is already a very good website for that. Our main goal is to protect both sides on the freelancing process by informing customers and freelancers of their rights, of what to do in case of a dispute and many many more. We will also include a freelancer rating system, books to buy and a few more services.
We are also planning to have a forum for customers AND freelancers so they could share their experience (what to avoid, what to not avoid). Nothing really big, unlike talkfreelance.
I am personally doing this project because I want to help customers & freelancers to avoid things like underpaying (makes me think of the Julian's topic) or exploitation.
What's your opinion?

It's good, but sounds like a lot to undertake by yourself. It seems though as if you took ideas from many sites and combined them to make one great resource. Sounds a tad bit like sitepoint (with the book selling and resources and forum) with a new twist. I really like it.

I built and coded exactly what you've described above afew months ago, based it on the Joomla CMS. Didn't really want to run it, so I tried to unload it. Never sold.
