  Old  switching hosts

Hello everyone. I am thinking about switching to site5 hosting. The hosting I currently have is http://www.ace-host.net/ I have like 2 add on domains which are costing me more money piling on to the monthly bill and 100 gb of bandwith and I am paying about 11 something per month. I think its time to switch because from what I see on site5 its kicking my hosts ass. I can have 4 different websites plus I am getting 300 gb's of more bandwidth, I think I am hooked. How will I be able to transfer all of the stuff from my host right now to the other and keep everything in one peace?

If I can suggest, I'll say Dreamhost. And, if you PM me, I can set you up with a discount

I don't think I would suggest Site5 if you run sites with MySQL databases, as I don't think theirs is the best - ask Robson about that!

What site are you planning to host? Only problem i've had with site5 is mysql related due to the large amount of requests this site has but those have since been fixed

I'd recommend them.

You may want to look into VPS, they are best suited for your sites that take a lot of bandwidth and mysql.

Hi Guys,

I am not trying to knock site 5; however, don't you think that you almost get way to much? 400 GB's of banwdith per month. Most good dedicated servers you do not get this on; however, they are loading up 100+ sites on a server and providing everyone 400 GB's of space.

I do feel that this is far fetched. VPS or dedicated is a great way to go if you are running large amounts of reqeust for site. Overselling is not always a good thing. Just an opinion from someone from a small town.
