Dave,

If you want to continue the "discussion" from http://theweeklyhit.com/?p=3, this is a better place to do it....

Thanks for the link Jules; however, this is NOT something that should be drug into talkfreelance. Feel free to discuss at the root of the issue (ie, that blog page) but there's no need to bring other members in on a personal/business squabble between Brius and This.

Did you write this? Because someone has some issues if you think that Brius copied that idea of eleven2. Well for one This* web hosting look's more like E2 than Brius that's for sure. Not to put anyone out on the spot I just think making a blog post singling someone out when clearly it's a common thing to do to a website. So what if both have large banners in the center of the page who cares? As long as it provides the service they offer that's all that matters.

Why is that, Jeff? This is a public forum is it not? So what's the issue in having a public conversation about the comparitive nature of our businesses and the subsequent content? It's a topic of conversation that has clearly extended beyond the subject matter of the original blog post, so shouldn't be discussed there any more.

In the interests of keeping it a fair discussion, I felt it best suited to TalkFreelance. After all, this is where the original blog author advertised the blog post update, and this is one of the only singular places in which we all have membership.

There's no personal/business "squabble" at all.

Because you're trying to escalate the issue into a public shouting match and argument between yourself, the brius crew and whomever is loyal on either side.
I will let it go for now, but the minute it becomes what I foresee it turning into, it will be closed and removed. And why I foresee this going down the tubes is from history here with these sort of threads.

No I'm not, and I'm not sure where you get that impression from. I made my intentions perfectly clear, so please don't be so quick to assume.

Well I can only speak for myself, but that shouldn't be the case at all.

I've lost respect for you JulesR, a little slider with dots with about 50% opacity is hardly unique.

Here is something that seems quite inspired too:

Sources: https://www.bethere.co.uk/ & http://www.thiswebhost.com/

If the person who wrote this post would have done their research, they would know that Bryan Le in fact did NOT design this, but rather Sixmode or Chris. (The Brius before that was design by Anthony Bullock I believe.)

This is rather improfessional to be calling someone out like this, especially when you own a site in the same industry.
