Any scripts that are a must need?

Im trying to develop a few sites, but the only problem I have is, what would the users want? Please let me know (ie: vB, IPB, BannerManage) Scripts like that, that costs money...

If you caould copy any of those 3 scripts you would be fine. Also Upload, Arcade, and Proxy scripts are popular but there are many cheap good ones.

What do you mean "what does the user want?". The user will want what you god damn give 'em!

What are you looking for? Forum? Arcade? Myspace Clone? Flash Portal?

Probably a good place to start would be figuring out what type of audience you're targeting. Bloggers? Forum visitors? Webmasters?

Your question *is* a bit vague; with a little more information suggesting the right software would be a lot easier.
