what music do YOU listen to?
Well since this is a lounge, I figured I may as well ask what music you all listen to.
So, give me an example of some of your favourite bands/artists!
Some of mine are:
- Dire Straits (mostly Mark Knopfler for his brilliant guitar playing - I also love the work he has produced in his solo career, and with other great guitarists such as the late Chet Atkins!)
- Queen
- Aerosmith
- The Bangles
... and a lot of others from the 60's / 70's / 80's (but those mentioned would definitely be at the top of my list!)

I'm a big fan of:
Usher
Dixie Chicks
Eminem
Lionel Richie
Stevie Wonder
50 Cent
Lemar
many many others, too many to name. I don't really like metal or house music. Everything else is cool

Ludacris, Nelly, Lil John and Ja Rule are not rappers, they're r'n'b with a mix of hip hop. If you want to hear real rap checkout some of Tupacs underground tracks as well as some ilacoin, kurupt and daz.
I listen to a lot of music but not r'n'b, garage or that crazy screaming punk stuff.

You can't say that someone isn't 'rap' because their lyrics do not appeal to you. Ludacris, Nelly, Lil Jon, and Ja Rule are rappers that may do R&B but are rappers nonetheless...
