Try www.4guysfromrolla.com. I bought their book ("Teach yourself Active Server Pages 3.0 in 21 days" published by SAMS) so I've used them since starting to learn ASP.

Hint! When trying to find something on their site I find their own search system useless so I usually use Google (ie. search at Google for "search term(s) site:www.4guysfromrolla.com")

Well if you're just getting into ASP, I would suggest switching to PHP. It's more universal and a far lot more tutorials on it.

ASP, PHP. JSP, Cold Fusion, it really doesn't matter which server side technology you use because they all work much the same... That said, I believe ASP is a good choice since it's a Microsoft products and as you get into the development of large projects, you will find that many servers will be running IIS and ASP as a backend...

PHP is generally used for smaller sites (though not always) since it is free and very, very robust... In fact, it's likely more robust than ASP... Then again, Mac has always been said to be better than PC's... Lesson #1... The best product IS NOT always the most successful in the industry.

In fact, I'm not sure of any large commercial or retail sites that uses PHP as a backend? Most of the ones I know are ASP or JSP?

Just my $.02
