Myspace - the best website ever
sorry i think i worded the title wrong.... i meant to ask a question
I dont even know what it is.. from what i understand you have a profile and you add friends etc.
but where is the profit, can someone explain it to me
i saw a post here " MySpace profile: 5000 friends" for sale
there were interested buyers, i gather the profit is you get access to a marketing group of 5000 people, and you can directly market your product to these people.. is that it?
or what do you gain out of buying contact to these people?
please help me i cant figure it out

I have no problem with MySpace as a whole...but the idea that people actually buy accounts so they can have more "friends" is somewhat sad.

People don't buy the accounts so they can look 'cool' with loads of friends. They use the account for marketing their site/product.
... Although there are some exceptions.
