How can one go about this, is there some form of stylesheet switching or guidelines on hwo to go about this? Thanks

Also remember that your X/HTML itself must be well-formed. i.e. every tag must have a closing tag, yadda yadda

If your site is valid XHTML, it should be quite easy to browse it with a hand held device.

I think some handheld devices display images up to a certian extent. I'd just keep them to an absolute minimum so the loading time is as short as possible.

Yeah, what Joe said regarding graphics

And don't bother with mouseovers, popups or opening things in a new window because most PDAs (well mine at least) won't support any of this.

I'm using a lot of display:none; in the PDA stylesheet I'm working on for ukguest.com to get rid of anything non essential... going with text links, minimal imagery, a smaller version of the logo etc. Fortunately the listings just happened to look fine on PDA with no changes which is a real bonus

Yeah sure, it's way early stages yet, so there's still stuff that shouldn't be there and other stuff that's missing... hope to get it finished over the weekend... Just visit www.ukguest.com on your PDA and it will automatically show you the right version.
