Unmetered Web Hosting
I was just wondering how many of you guys currently have an unmetered/unlimited web hosting plan (shared or reseller)?
Also, do you know of any companies that offer unmetered web/reseller hosting packages?
And what is a reasonable price currently for such a package, shared and reseller?
Thanks in advance.

Haven't seen you in ages! I remember you from CT! Heh, anyhow as many have said unmetered is quite impossible due to the fact that sooner or later the server won't have enough resources to splew out to the customer.
If I was to honestly say "unmetered" and offer it, it'd offer it as around $20.

I dont think any host offer unmetered bandwidth on their reseller and shared hosting plans. Its available only with Dedicated hosting.

I've seen a few hosting companies that offered unmetered shared hosting. These companies were very reliable and I'm not entirely sure they're still around. Unmetered accounts are often exploited by a small number of less-than-reputable customers and don't last for long. I'd definately suggest going with a more trustable host.

Be careful, unlimited is like saying your car will never run out of gas and unmetered is like the dealer saying he will refill your car when it hits the e-line forever. The first is impossible and the second just isnt done, be careful of anyone who offers either.

Unmetered dedicated servers are quite possible, and quite common. If you really need that kind of bandwidth, go for it, but it's unlikely.

Quoted for emphasis.
The only way I think of buying an unmetered service, is when I am looking for a dedicated. Stand clear of unmetered resellers and shared environments, imo.

Agree, Omer, have you tried Nixism? The reseller plan specs seem great
