Google Print
http://print.google.com
If you have a gmail account you can search thousands upon thousands of pages from books - for citation purposes!
Great for all your academic research papers!

Hmm, being a tight-ass university student, I may begin to use this service instead of purchasing those 100$ text books that I use for 3 months and only open once.

Actually this isn't that great.
#2 Why can't I read the entire book?
We respect copyright law and the tremendous creative effort authors put into their work. So you'll only able to see a limited portion – in some cases only a few sentences – of books that we treat as under copyright. If the book is not under copyright, then you can browse the entire book. In general, Google Print aims to help you discover books, not read them from start to finish. It's like going to a bookstore and browsing – only with a Google twist.
#6 I'm already logged in. Why are you telling me the page is unavailable?
As part of our efforts to protect a book's copyright, a set of pages in every in-copyright book will be unavailable to all users.

You can't read the whole thing
