I Think I Have Been Scammed :(

I think Baby Boy has scammed me ive had no contact from him and the job should have been done about 2 - 3 weeks ago ive spent over $200 with him now does anyone on here talk to him?

all i can say is i hope im wrong

Well ive just put a paypal claim in now im hoping this is just a miss understanding but ive pmd him a few times and he was online yesterday so he could have sent a reply

hypro, don't judge on names its not very cool in my opinion just shows you judge a book by its cover. but yah hope this gets sorted mate. always had a feeling about him doing that.

PayPal isn't reliable when it comes to claims, especially in this type of situation.

One question. Did you and "Baby Blue" sign a contract, and were both parties given a hard copy? Without a signed contract, or hard evidence, he can eaily state that he sent you whatever work was assigned to him, and you could have "misplaced" it.

Whatever happens, however, I hope you're able to get it straightened out. The internet is a risky business.

Yep, i agree. I myself have been scammed once on other forum. I trusted him because of his "good" reputation on the forum and because he has been on the forum for quite a while. Yet, he ran away with my money, and i was a little too late placing a chargeback on paypal. Let it be a lesson, don't trust anyone so easily on the net, even if he seems very decent and honest.

unfortunately there was no hard contract but if he says he sent the work to me ill just get paypal to ask him to send a copy to them.
