Sociast Released
We are releasing Sociast.
Sociast is basically a connection of all Sociast profiles someone has. It pull's recent data from them, and displays it cleanly all on one page.
http://sociast.com/nick/ - My Profile
Sadly, MySpace will temporarily be down.
Note: You must be logged into Sociast to comment on the blog
You might see some tweaks here and there, but I am very pleased with the outcome.
Comments, questions, concerns all welcome. Use our contact form or post in this thread.
Thanks to all the beta testers, Seb, Jeff, Nxiel and to everyone whom helped or was involved! I really appreciate it!
Regards,
Nick

Looks good.
Just something minor I noticed. If I add anything after my profile URL, it will add to the profile view count after a refresh.
Something like http://sociast.com/jason/g54g5/ or anything random.

This appears to be coincidental as I can't replicate it. I believe somebody just looked at your profile in the interim.
Profile views are uniques on a 24 hour expiry and they're tracked by userid so changing the URL shouldn't have any effect.

If I keep refreshing with the same ID, it doesn't count up, but if I change the URL, press enter, it will stay them same, but the change happens once you refresh that same URL.
I've taken myself up to 23 doing this.

I did it to you as well. We are working on it, thanks for that Jason.

I can't get it replicate at all on any browser. I suspect it has to do with cookie handling... I've got it set to all paths but who knows what witchcraft is going on. The logic all looks right.
Point is moot though, since those strange paths should generate 404 headers and accompanying error page. Done!

Well, you are annoyingly good at finding/creating them during testing, so I'm not too terribly surprised.
We are continuing to poke at MySpace through every available avenue until we get our MySpaceID integration approved. Their approval process is nothing short of silly for an operation of that scale.
