vBulletin Update
This place could use an update on the vBulletin version.

Upgrading is not that simple. Since these are custom designs we would have to hire someone to modify the template to fit the new features.

Village honestly the upgrades are not that hard to make and it would be extremely easy to do.

Second'd.
2 skins and several plugins isn't exactly a walk in the park.

You are talking to the person who did them last time on this site, they are not extremely easy.

The current software is indeed far behind where it needs to be and does need to be updated. It's just one of those things on the todo list for myself (or the new staff) and Zee to sort out sooner or later.
Thanks for the suggestion thread, any updates will be posted in here.

Thing is though, and not taking anyone's side or whatever... But Randy brought this up before from what I was told, and nothing was done.
(Not picking on Randy of course. Just stating some legit reasoning.) Then Randy went a step further to prove a point, and hacked in here making himself Admin. To prove to the Admins that there was a huge security flaw. Randy was banned for a while, then reinstated later.
I know it might be some work, but I do see the value and importance of upgrading ANY software. Isn't or wouldn't anyone be up for helping to update skins, plug-ins to work with the skins, and etc?
Or perhaps, maybe, a totally different new skin for TFL? One that could represent a new future and change for the board? Start fresh.

@spencerp:
If you pay for a new skin, fine.
If you pay for someone to do the upgrades, fine.
But I'm guessing you won't..

Would love to help cover that, if I had the money. I wrote that assuming most anyone around here (mostly the young bucks) since they are bringing in more money a day then I'd make a month. Wouldn't mind offering to help fix things up a little bit.
Perhaps someone to offer some Pro Bono services as well, since there's a few around here that know PHP and or how to code for vBulletin. Just thought maybe someone out there would throw some help towards fixing up the board... But I guess not... I'd love to, but I'm just broke and don't know PHP / vBulletin at all.
But I do see your point though, as well as the others before you...
