how could I make the rollovers not flicker? preload the images? like the first time you roll over them they are just blank for a second...

This project is finally back under way, it was delayed for a bit so hopefully soon I will have this complete with CMS and all.

They are flickering because you haven't preloaded the images The flicker is when the spot goes blank while it loads the new image.

http://javascript.internet.com/misce...ad-images.html

Check that out, impliment it, and then control-F5 (clear your cache entirely so it re-downloads all the images) and try them again They shouldn't flicker.

Regards,
Patrick

I presume you use dreamweaver. If you do just click the little 'Pre-load image' box when in the rollover option box.

Source looks good to me, nice markup although those green boxes get alittle annoying

you could use bg images that include both the on and off buttons then use the bg position spec to control the hover. no flickering since the image is already loaded.
