Old  Wondering what to do with a couple of domains..

Hey guys, last year around December I decided that I am going to start a windows 7 tutorials site and a windows 7 resources site and I wanted those two to be tied in together.

So I purchased 7tuts.com and 7dls.com.

Here's the problem:

I got so busy after that, that I hardly had any time to set the sites up and post up some content =|.

Now I want to know what the best thing to do here is, should I try to sell those domains? Or should I put together a custom designed wordpress blog and try to sell that with the domain?

I just don't want to end up wasting my time =\. Any other suggestions will be appreciated as well.

It's only two domains, what's that $10 (there or there abouts)? If you're still busy, or are likely to become busy, and/or cannot really be bothered with them any longer just do nothing -- or offer them for sale, to recoup your investment; they're catchy, short domains.

Yeah they are catchy and short, thats why i was wondering if there would be more value in selling them simply or making a site for them.

Domains like these, and it is strictly my personal opinion, usually are more valuable when there are developed.

My suggestion to you is if you have free time, try to make something valuable out of them.

If you do not have the time, you have two options: sell domains or keep them if you consider them valuable and/or you do not get the price you expect for them.

Good luck then. That's a good decision. Both are good domains: short and brandable. I prefer the first one though, it's easy to say and to remember. If I were selling the domains, I would sell the first at much higher price than the second.

I prefer the first also. I count 7tuts.com consists of three syllables while the other consists of five syllables. It will matter especially when you verbally inform the domain name to someone.

I don't know if it is just me but these days I find it hard to sell domain names. People want a website with at least some revenue from it only then are they willing to invest. I guess people are getting busy and don't want to take the hassle of creating a website from scratch.

I bet your decision to develop a website was right.

3 syllables!? Se-Ven-Tuts-Dot-Com = 5?

Anything you add will make the domains more valuable. However, to get mid XXX you will have to make a very good template/site!

I think he meant just the Se-Ven-Tuts part.
