Ok first things first, the loading time on the site was ridiculous.. It took me about 30 seconds before the main page came up.. Which on a 6mb connection is just too long..
As for the design, I assume that you were trying to make a simplistic, minimalistic design. Although, this one doesnt do a
great job of portraying that, its not bad, just a little too "regular". I think the standardized image of clouds is just a bit too over-used now days. Im not saying clouds is bad, but the image you used is just seen too much. The links.. I dont understand why you used images for your links, both thelinks above and below the header image are very simple, and can be accomplished with simple CSS attributes.
I also believe that although white-space is good,
too much white-space can be bad.. And in this case, there's just too much. Overall the design is very simple, the colors are very bleak and there's just not enough to keep me interested in the site.
I guess that the overall design isn't bad in a minimalistic point-of-view.. I just few theres some minor details that if changed would help bring the whole design together. Good luck.
