can you get a phone for only texting and email ? I would be interested in doing that with a sidekick or blackberry,

I have right now a lg atm. Verizon has no good phones.

Ya you can get a phone just for AIM/EMAIL texting if you want. Just talk to your provider about that.

If I ever get a cell phone I wont want IM, email, text messaging or stuff like that. All I need form it is good long distance and not many dropped calls.

it has color screen, and belive it or not, even a crappy camera
I'd love to buy the iPhone later, so I'm not buying a new one anyway, but I'm not sure i'll want to spend the money on the iPhone, since it is a very expensive thingy...
