Want $150? Jan / Feb Longest Thread Competition
Ok - time to launch another free giveaway competition.
Here are the rules - nice and simple.
$100 - First Place
$50 - Second Place
1/. The winner is the person who creates the longest thread in the following sections: "Talkfreelance Website Design" or "Talkfreelance Website Design Development" or "Talkfreelance Website Mangement" forums or their subforums.
2/. You are not allowed to bump your own threads ( any person posting consecutively in their own thread will be disqualified ).
3/. Your own posts in the thread are not counted towards the final count.
4/. Posts less than one line in length will not be counted. Quoted text from another use will also not count unless the post has more than 1 line of original text either.
5/. Pure image posts do not count unless they are accompanied by text (more than a single line length).
6/. You must submit your own entry at the end of the competition time with your own count before we verify it.
7/. Competition end on the last day of Feb (any thread created before then can count towards the competition).
8/. The thread must be a thread of substance - spammy thread will not count (such as "person above you threads" etc). The judges decision will be final on deciding if the thread is spammy or not.
9/. Competition open to all staff
Enjoy!!

I'd assume that a post with a single image ( like in here) would count as a single line, since it is just a single line when the member types it into the posting box (or clicks the buttons). But, I don't make the rules!

To be honest this contest isn't going well. Your getting stupid spam topics like:
"Count to 10000"
"Your favorite word"
"How much money is in your paypal"

I shall clarify the rules - I made a boo boo in that I put "other than" when in should be "in".
