Wordpress Design (Opinions?)

Hey Everyone,
I recently started designing again and have been working on this wordpress design all morning and am looking for some critique. Good, bad, etc... I wanna hear it.

looking good mate, only thing that anoys me is the self coloured nav bar, make it the same as your buttons and it will be real nice

Well Simon Cowell, it's supposed to be for wordpress content (recent posts, categories, links) but I think the brushes will get in the way of the content so those will most likely be removed.

I think the text font is a bit small.

And what tutto said, at least, what I interpreted is you need to organize this layouts.

The sections are defined correctly. What's the footer? The header? The nav?

I think that was what he meant.

Looking nice though.
