  Old  Advertising in BING

I've read from somewhere that we must focus our SEO on just one search engine, more likely to Google. How about using BING? I've seen many comments that BING is getting good results everyday.

Every search engine uses its own algorithm to rank websites. SEO for one search engine may not necessarily work best in other search engines.

Many is focusing on Google simply because more people are using google as their search engine. So they all want to rank high on Google. but if you can rank on the 3 major search engine that will be better, but it's not going to be that easy..

Being on the top on Google will be enough I presume. Most websites who rank top on Google usually can be found 2nd or 3rd on the other search engines and that is not really bad at all.

That's interesting, Charley. I guess the three major search engines use similar algorithms (to some extent) to rank websites. It would be great if you got enough time and resources to optimize your websites to the three, but if you didn't, Google is the best option for you to optimize your website to.

Bing did capture some market share, but I'd still recommend optimizing for Google.

I agree also interesting to see the google.co.uk and the google.com difference but Google is the one to aim for at present.

Bing does perform well currently despite the fact that it's still new. But being good is not enough in such a competitive market. You have to be the best to dominate the market and Google is still the best.
