  Old  need help with word

Hey i don't know where to post this , so if it's wrong just move it.
I need some help with something in word , im in my latest year and i have to make some kind of end year project about a subjet , now i want to make some kind of dividers in word , i wanna do that by giving my paper a stroke of color , how do i do that? Don't know what i mean? Look in the screenshot below, made in photoshop

You will need to draw a rectangle and position it in that location;

View > Toolbars > Drawing select "Rectangle" in the new toolbar and start drawing. Right mouse click on the rectangle "Format Autoshape" and create the fill.

ideally you could just do everything in indesign, but i doubt you have it.

print the stroke w/bleed (preferably in indesign/illustrator, but photoshop will work), reinsert into paper tray, and then print the word document on top of it.

I tried what aros said it worked , but it's not the best thing.
To bad my printer isn't a borderless printer :s (while it showed on the infoticket at the store)

yeah, desktop printers usually won't print bleeds. the more expensive ones that will usually don't get used enough to be worth it in the end. it sucks.

we have a 4 colour laser at work and i never appreciated the ability to print bleed until i started doing a lot of it.

but for things like letterheads, where it's just paragraphs of text i usually do a double print > print template, then re-insert and print text. i prefer to use indesign, but it takes longer for just plain typing.

i printed out one copy (63 pages) of at my house, didn't print the other 2 same copies since i have a stupid cheap lexmark. Went to copy 2 more and put them in special maps , all in total costed 99 euro ffs. So expensive!
