IX Webhosting

I have heard a lot of bad stories about them. People would nevertheless consider the company because it is cheap and has a lot of features. Any opinions?

If you doubt in them, use the other company.

I would not recommend this host.

but it's really cheap, i might buy an one for put my images.

I can agree with Monalisa and also think that it is better to deal with middle-sized companies because customers' safety is the main goal for them. I suggest you to have a look at *************.com. They provide Linux and Windows based dedicated servers and VPS and also offer Windows 2003 and 2008 on either. It will meet all your specific needs.

Supportive vote from my side, Andrew. middle-sized companies are really more reliable, because of not spreading efforts at wide audience. *********.com for example has excellent uptime and cheap prices. I believe they are much more reasonable than IXwebhosting.

I've transferred a lot of clients from IX Webhosting for a wide range of issues but most were centered around a lack of support or very low quality support.

I would rather go with something smaller and more reliable. Like **********.com for instance. Theis company is really good for getting a shared hosting accounts, due to the features they provide.
