  Old  Setting up Page Typography

I know that now in web design using headers is the big thing and is used on the majority of sites now. I was just wondering how many people actually set up all of the headers (h1-6) in their PSD design before they start coding it up.

Until I really figured out the structure of using headers I used them completely wrong and when someone pointed it out to me I started doing all of my headers in my PSD designs before I would start coding them and man does it help! I just thought that if people didn't do this, it would be a good thing to start doing.

If ever I'm coding a website, I'll always put the copy in first and forget about the design. It just helps to get the elements correct and I also find it easier to optimize then.

We format the text and headers in CSS while the site is live rather than in the PSD as it is easier to adjust.

I don't do most of them in photoshop. Instead, I do h1, so I make sure that it stands out enough, and then change the others around to what I need them to be. I always pick out the font from photoshop first.
