Development Software Site - Soon To Open

Hi, I've been ramaking the template many times over again to try and remake this site, and I'm thinking that this could be it.

The site is like download.com, but for Developers only. Users can sign up, submit their own/others software, download, review etc. I'm also planning to add a news section where there will be daily news from the tech industry, and also a blog like section where users can submit their success/experience stories.

Please tell me what you like or dislike and how I can improve the site.

Ok, I updated the URl, it should work now
Some of the links still do not work, but most of the site is intact.

are these free?

They'll be trial versions. So yes, free, but only for 30 days or so.

It's a resource for people new to the community to find software that they may like and someday buy in the future. But yes, the site will offer only trial versions unless the program itself is free.

Any feedback? Do you think the site itself is a good idea? Is the template nice for this purpose? Anything to fix?

I like the design but i have to point out that the login button and the search button are a little messy around the sides of them all they need is a little tidying up. over all its great
