Old  Graphical or simple design with scripts?

I'm developing several scripts at the moment (for resell purposes) and would like to know what people prefer, a very graphical design or a simple design as the default style. These scripts will have editable templates.

Graphical design which could be edited easily via image replacement, html codes and css styles.

A very simple one, it has to leave room for modifications

Simple, people never use default templates anyway...make sure the skinning system is easy to use and flexible....then people can hack them to death
