Sports Convo vB Skin

working on this skin for a forum im thinking of starting.

lemme know what u think and any suggestions u have are welcome. thanks.

hey firstly, i like the colours etc very nice, the skin looks great, but not for a sport site!

Try adding some sports icons etc, and make the logo sporty etc, footballs, tennis stuff etc,

hey, yeah i know its not very sporty, but the forum is gonna be like all sports so i dont wanna include like 1 or 2 in the logo cuz then ppl will think its a football forum or baseball or w/e. also i dont wanna overcrowd it with like 5 different pics for 5 diff sports etc

i was thinking of adding like a light texture/pattern to the gradient bars to make it sorta rough looking, any suggestions on what to use. like grass? a rocky texture? etc.

I think grass might work! Rocky texture doesnt scream sports at me though

go with the grass, provide an update, i'd like to see what you do with this site!

I think the logo let's it down, besides that it's not bad, colours work well, structure is good, possibly get rid of the grey forum icon and change it too a darker blue?

If i were you i would put some silhouttes of people doing sports on the right side of the logo.
Like a guy hitting a football , or doing golf , blabal , and lower their opacity the more they go to the right

thanks for the comments. and i put a gray icon so its easier to tell between the read and unread forums.

and yeah i was thinking of adding a grassy texture and some pics of diff sports. the sillouhette idea sounds nice.
