Proxy scripts

I'm looking for a proxy script or information on running a proxy website.

also you will need a vps or dedicated server if you plan on making it abig proxy site as shared hosts don't have the resources to run high traffic proxies. i don't really think theres a lot of money to be made in a proxy site but they are easy and simple to maintain and run.

Personally, I think you've picked the wrong time to start a proxy site as the summer holidays are drawing closer, and proxies are used a hell of alot by school kids trying to get onto games etc - Just my two cents.

Sucks because I had an idea for a script that I want to develop, but it's targetting the same audience .

I think there is still a big demand for them, especially in the warez/underground world.

With that comes big problems too. When I ran a proxy site, I had some visitors that were using the site to browse some rather sickening porn sites.

Make sure you take precautions - somehow.

Proxy sites are worth the money your going to put into i run a proxy site www.proxyfly.net and im bought to sell it or either shut it down. Like Indy said theres alot of sickening people that go out to porn sites and you have to have a server to run it becuas of the resources it uses up.
