Hey All,

I recently launched a new website that I thought might be useful for all you web designers:

http://www.mostinspired.com

The site was itself inspired by PopUrls to provide a way to view all the design gallery entries in one place, in a quick and convenient manner.

I'm still working out the kinks, but would love any feedback you have.

Cheers,
Mubs

You own LightonDark? That site is a God send!

On another note... Check the rules on signatures.

Yes I started Light On Dark earlier this year, kinda lead to Most Inspired.

Opps on the signature, fixed.

I was getting alot of "little red X's", however, the concept is awesome. This may actually work well with a project I'm working on - do you or are you planning on any API functionality?

Nice work.

this is good.

much better than that other one that's super dark and all over the place.

This design is great for two reasons: it's clean, and it's based on CSS

It's bad for one reason: The html is atrocious. The CSS is SO good and then the html is terrible. I wish the html was cleaner xhtml, not 4.01. =/

@joe: Thanks!

@sevencube: Yeah I noticed a few of those too (depending which browser I'm using). I think it has to do with the restricted images in the feeds, working on filtering those out. Hadn't really thought about any kinda of API's, but feel free to contact me with any idea's you have.

@WardLarson: "The html is atrocious." I get lots of warnings with Tidy, which have to do with the moo.fx code for doing the accordian effects, how exactly is the html terrible?

Okay, I looked at the source and found the problem.

You coded in xhtml 1.0, but you added the html 4.01 doctype.

Do this:

change this
Code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">
to this
Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
Your code will be near perfect now.

Thanks for taking the time to get to the bottom of that! The doctype has been fixed.

I think I just copied the html base from another site I was working on, and didn't change the doctype.

Cheers,
Mubs
