freelancer feedback

i think talkfreelance needs a freelancer feedback forum.

for example, say a freelancer named "blah" creates a thread of what he can do, or has done, then other people who have worked with him can reply with their feedback on the job he did and their experience working with that person. the freelancer could also say "hey, check out talkfreelance.com/thread to see others experiences of working with me" etc. i think there should be rules though such as only 1 thread per freelancer (so there are not 100 threads about 1 person - people will have to actually use the search function). the more active they are obviously their thread will be towards the top.

it would just create a nice database of freelancers and their work experience, and could help some get more work and some get less

in theory the idea could work... but you know it'll be abused.

that'll require alot of moderation to keep it from being abused. Somebody could easilly make more user.

I like the idea, but I think that it could be better if there is just one list of all the freelancers on the forum with all their info so someone can contact them for work. (Like the current need work threads, but contained in one forum). Pretty useless, but if implemented right, it could just be a nice little convienence.

A better system is the modification called iTrader for vB. It's pretty good, users can easily report and moderation is also pretty easy.

Well, not really. It's used successfuly at digitalpoint, a link to the original post is also supplied with the trader feedback.

that wont stop people for using it when it is not due, and it will also create little kiddie arguements over 'heez g0t bettr rep den me, hes hakx'

Trust me, we've already had this discussion, and iTrader will not be implemented.
