Character Limit in Marketplace
This is simply a pain in the ass in the marketplace.
Can you remove it from this section?
When I bid on an item, I want to be able to post '$xxx' and be done with it.
I don't need to post 20 characters... so why limit it in this particular section?

You could always state your price and then hold down the space bar until you get to 20 characters+ and then make a smiley face or period (if the mods are OK with that) . All but one space will disappear when it posts.

the thing that I found works is make your posts REALLY long with every possible word you can squeeze in the post to get it over the new rule that every post has to be 20 letters or more

We have talked about this and are still in discussion about removing this rule from the marketplace forums.

It's not hard at all but it's totally pointless.

Does it take so much discussion for such a minimal amount of action? Normally I say yes, you need to discuss every aspect of the rule your about to implement before you do it - but discussing that is pointless because it is evident you need to lift the rule on a minimum number of characters in a marketplace post. All you really have to do is notify the admins/mods that your doing it, then do it. If you can't do it yourself, ask the appropriate person to do so...

Unfortunately it is not a setting you can do on a forum by forum basis. - If it was then we would certainly do it, and we will look at code modifications that may make this possible. In the meantime it will not be considered spam to put a price and hit the space bar to get round this issue in the marketplace

Or you could do this.
Hey, I bid $20.
Char-limit.
