My Blog Re-launched
www.zanejamal.co.uk
Finally launched . My old blog www.devspeak.org will be redirecting to this site soon, I have to keep it up for a day or two because of issues. The main focus on this design was typography. I hope you guys like it, if you dont, oh well its my blog :P. Its not completely finsihed yet, finishing touches still being added.
PS. I know the font is large. Read my blog post and read this thread, then reply.

Thanks I gave some reason for the chunkyness on my post. Going for that kind of magazine feel. Blogs are meant to be read anyway, so might as well make them readable .

:P Its meant to be like that. I think it might be because I have a high resolution that it looks a bit better for me. On 800x600 it probably looks huge lol.
Im going to add a css selector thing at the top so you can make all the fonts smaller.
Quick way to do this in firefox is press ctrl and minus.

I'm using 1280, and i think its perfect that size :P. But like i said i will add an option to make it smaller. Will also make it cookie so you dont need to do it every time.

I know it is supposed to be big, but the site seems like the text is all in a h2 or h1.
And thats not very um...user friendly.

ah well. I dont understand how its not userfriendly though ? You can read it clearly and surely thats the point. Its also easy to distinguish between headers - The logo name is the most important, then the post title (in orange) and then you have the body text, most people i show this too would understand what it was quickly.
