Joking Blog
Hello,
I just wanted to announce that few hours ago i launched a new blog/website in partnership. The URL is Joking Blog, in this blog you are able to register for free and post your favorite joke, or the jokes you best know and have a backlink to your site at the bottom of each joke you post automatically (if you set a website from your user panel).
The whole idea of this blog is to share jokes, everyone is able to write a online joke and share it with the rest of the community. In simple words, the users will be creating this blog.
Right now there are not much jokes in the database, but hopefully it will grow, and that would be thanks to communities like TFL and the visitors.
I would like to hear any opinions or ideas in regard of this blog, so keep posting them here if you have any.
Edit: Seems like URI in this case is truly too generic. Fixed

Even if he was wrong, what's the point of pointing out his mistake? Just to look like an ass or to look smart? Or do you really think you are helping him.
Anyway, the site looks good, but I have one question: do you moderate the submissions? Because if you are just making all new users able to write, then how will you manage what goes on the blog?

Yeah, it seems to be working now. It looks pretty nice - the ads are annoying, though. :/

To Andrew R, yes the posts are being moderated, i am not running this blog all by my own, its two of us. The posts are being reviewed and the owner of the joke writer is going to be contacted if there is anything wrong withing that joke/post.
To zerotothe5th, really curious to know honestly. What is exactly that is annoying you, is the color, the placement of the ads or it's the rapport content vs ads (as quantity). I would like to hear more.
Would also like to add, that the design has been fixed with the errors in IE so it should look perfect (or almost the same) in both browsers.
Thank you about the reviews, will be waiting on more reviews from your part or even suggestions.

Well it's not really a huge deal, but I've always been annoyed when ads are placed INSIDE a post....like in the screenshot below. I personally prefer them to be in the sidebar or somewhere not intruding on the content. (The ads at the top are fine.)
