Copyright questions
So im making a game with a team and right now its in early development. Anyways, I know this is a freelance site, but you all deal with copyright issues. I want to know how to copyright a name. Does it also apply to a studio name, too? Where would I go? Thanks in advance for any info!

I think you may be talking more about trademarking a name.

Make sure you use a unique name, not a person's name. For instance, You couldn't call the company "Your Name" and trademark it.

In most US cities, if you go down to your local court, or buisness center, you can purchase a trademark and buisness license for 10$ each.

You can trademark the business name, provided it isn't being used through the USPTO. Copyright is usually used for creative works. However, you don't have to register either, as they are automatically granted to you. It is just a better spot to be in legally to have an approved and accepted trademark that you are using or planning on using in interestate commerce.
I would also register the business name with the state you are planning to operate out of.
