Old  Site Very Slow - Advise Needed!

Hi all,

I'm working on a site, www.getbiz.co.uk, which seems very slow both on the clients site and my home PC, even though the site contains few images. To cap it off, the host support isnt great either.

I need a host with good uptime, speed and support. Any ideas?

I'm currently hosting with this* and I haven't had a single problem. Highly recommended!

As far as i know they are willing to have a dedicated server, so the budget would be somewhere in the region of 1K per annum.

For a website of that size, you definitely wouldn't need a dedicated server. You would be perfectly fine on a good shared server.

I can vouch, Brius is the best host that I've been with. I recommend checking them out

Check my host **************.com, they offer a stable presence for a web site on their shared plans, they have now budget and business hosting shared deals, the difference is mostly in the amount of resources offered and the price.

Where are you currently located. If your around the UK area, then it would be wise to pick a host that isn't overselling in the UK region or within the north east U.S.
