Whats better being proffessional or..
Hey everyone,
what do you think is better being proffessional or being honest with your clients? I think that being honest is better. You cant be both all the times ( thats what i think lol) I mean sometimes you going to give up one of these to achieve certain goals. so what you think?

I think being professional hands down. When a job needs to be done it has to be done in the right way and with the right attitude.

Yeah you are right, but I think being honest with your client is the best way to get the best attitude!

I'm both professional and honest, it's just the way I am. Who is there to say that you can't be both?

Hey Rob,
What I mean by honest is that you have to tell your clients what you can do and what you can and not just telling them ( I guess I can do that or I will try that for just keepin him/her your cleint) and update him/her with what you have done. For example that guy who did do what you paid him for and wasnt telling you the truth, I guess that this guy wasnt either proffessional or honest with you.

In that case, being professional is being honest. It is really the same thing Nofan. You cannot be professional without being honest to your client.

I agree with that Rob 100% but what I ve experienced with some scammers around makes my first statment true * you can be professional without being honest* as you know Rob I have been cheated a couple of times of people who were pretending to be professional designers which apparently turned to be they were not! I wish that everyone is like you Rob or Moob .

Being honest makes you be a professional. Tell them what you can offer for how much, in fact tell them everything. Don't leave anything out, don't scam them, don't overcharge, you'll just give your self a bad name!
