Brius Server Issues
***WE'RE BACK UP AND RUNNING***
To all of our TFL clients,
As some of you may already know, Brius and its servers are down at the moment.
At approximately 12 AM this morning, three of our servers experienced unexpected issues, causing them to fail. If you are on the ALPHA, ECHO, or FOXTROT servers, you will find that your site is not up. As of now, we are unsure what the problem was/is. Dave and I are currently investigating the problem, but our number one priority at the moment is getting the servers back online.
We have been working around the clock with our Datacenter, Softlayer, and they have been working around the clock (since 1 AM this morning) to restore everything. They are currently backing up Terabytes of storage and all of our accounts and transferring us to a new server. They've had to manually reinstall everything, back up all of the data piece by piece and we've been given an estimate of an hour or so - though we do not want to make any promises since this seems to have been a security breach, and we want to make sure everything is perfectly fine before we load all of our client's data back on. So the real time estimate is unknown.
This comes almost two days before our planned relaunch and celebration of our two year anniversary, so please understand that we're doing absolutely everything in our power to get our clients back online. We understand that this can be extremely frustrating to our clients - and understandably so - but rest assured, we are doing absolutely all that we can to fix the issue.
I'll continue to update this as news from Softlayer comes to us. So in the mean time, please use this thread as a means of contact.
All the best,
Bryan & Dave

Softlayer are good like that, we're with them aswell - They'll help you till the end of the earth if something happens to the server. Shame my first server was given a faulty IPMI card.
Anyway, I'm sure everything will be fine
