  Old  Looking for Partners

I have had the best idea ever.

This idea requires a lot of money and knowhow. I am seeking partners who would like to join for a 20% ownership for $500, as we will need capital to get started.

This super-secret site will sell a certain kind of website. I can't tell you because this idea is too valulable.

I'll give you a hint. It involves 'shortening' a certain kind of 'address'.

Can't get it? Okay -- fine, I'll let you in on the secret. BUT DONT TELL ANYONE OKAY?!

This site will sell sites selling url shorteners! You have no doubt seen the literal hundreds of URL shortening scripts, well, how do you cash in on that? By selling sites that sell these scripts!!

It's like back when California had it's big gold rush. The people who got really rich weren't the prospectors, they were the people who owned hardware stores. LET US BE THE HARDWARE STORES OF THE URL SHORTENING BUSINESS! We will sell these sites that sell sites that sell url shorteners!

But that's not the whole idea, you see I have ideas on how we expand. Eventually we'll need to sell sites that sell sites that sell url shorteners, opening up an entire unopened market!

No one has done this before! Lets be the first and cash in on this opportunity! Opportunity only knocks once, will you answer the door? Knock... knock...

Don't let this opportunity pass you buy! Purchase a 1/5th interest for only $500. MENTION TALKFREELANCE AND GET $50 KNOCKED OFF!! That's enough money to buy ten sandwiches!

Space is limited so hurry!

I'm gunna say this post is quite spammy and not the way to go about getting investors.

Eh, I don't get the point of this thread. Why would anyone buy a url shortening site when its piss easy to setup one yourself.

You're missing the point, we're going to sell sites that sell sites that shorten urls! We're making it easy to let other people let other people set up url shorteners easily!

I get what your talking about, but honestly I do not see how it will make money to make it worth my time. Perhaps I am wrong and I hope for your sake that I am. Good Luck!

Guys, take this seriously! Honestly, I feel like you're treating this as some sort of satire and not really getting what the site will be about!!

No, I think everyone completely understands what it is you selling:

An Idea not proven to work, with no business plan what so ever. No explanation of what exactly the money will be used for besides equity in a non existent company.

So yeah understood.
