Old  How to find genuine clients?

I have researched many forums, community, but not much in the content creation where the jobs are generally posted. Most of those offers are for ridiculously, spam or low pay offs and I refuse to work for peanuts. I just want the helps from this community how do I get the genuine ones… any resources which you know?

Personally, I've had a hard time finding people that actually are willing to work. Instead they tend to be lazy or incompetent of the work.

What you want to look for are people who have good English (spelling/grammar), people who are willing to listen and people who want to help you. Generally, those are the most effective.

Well, if you're in content creation, you'll probably want to get your English grammar skills brushed up a bit:

"I just want the helps" = "I just want help"; and in the first line, you meant "communities".

If you want real clients, however, I'd recommend getting a professional site set up.

Sell locally - you can charge a lot more money for your efforts and you don't have to compete with heaps and heaps of other designers.

Find businesses that you can help, and call them and tell them you can help them. Organise a meeting to talk about how, and then ask them a bunch of questions of what they need. And then suggest a solution. Viola!

Again, get yourself set-up with a web site that offers complete and clear information about the services you offer, make sure it's impressionable!

Regards,
Matt.
